The purpose of the Outstanding Citizen Award is recognize those individuals in the Greater Millville community that day in and day out do good things, often behind the scenes, for others for the greater good of the community.  “Good people doing small things that fulfill great needs”.  

We continue to reach out to area churches, community organizations, etc. to seek their input and nominations.  We also welcome nominations from the general public. All we ask is that you submit the name in writing by letter, fax or e mail.  The name and a couple of sentences explaining the good work provided by the person and the recommendation will be considered.  If selected as outstanding citizen,  the honoree and the person who made the recommendation will be our guest at a future luncheon.
