United States Senator Cory Booker spoke to a packed house at the GlassWorks business complex on September 1 in a special event that was hosted by the Greater Millvile Chamber of Commerce. Booker’s apperance brought local residents and members of eight southern New Jersey Chambers of Commerce together as they listened to the Senator outline his ideas to assist the region as it seeks economic growth and increased support on both local, state and federal levels.

Downtown Car Show: Summer Event Draws Thousands of Auto Fans to Millville

     The annual Millville Downtown Car Show was held on August 8 with a near-record crowd on hand for the GMCC-sponsored event. This marked the 25th anniversary for the popular downtown show that has become one of the chamber's premier showcase events in the community.

SNJToday Named
2015 Title Sponsor
of Christmas Parade

     SNJToday, headquartered in Millville, has been named Title Sponsor of the 2015 Millville Christmas Parade. As part of this partnership with the Greater Millville Chamber of Commerce, the radio, television and Internet broadcasting company promises to create a more expansive viewer experience for parade participants, spectators and people watching at home via their TVs or electronic devices.            Offically called the SNJToday Millville Christmas Parade – presented by the Greater Millville Chamber of Commerce and the City of Millville – the event will be held Friday, November 27. The theme of the parade is “Home for the Holidays - Honoring Our Veterans” with special recognition of local vets a part of the program.          

     “This partnership creates the foundation for a bigger, better parade,” said Chamber President Larry Malone. “It’s a win-win. It’s going to be a great event.”      

     "We're excited to sponsor this treasured Millville tradition," said Ken Pustizzi, Jr., Director of Business Development at SNJToday. "Our ultimate goal is to enhance participation in the parade and provide maximum coverage of the event."        

     SNJ Today, located in the The Glassworks business complex, recently launched its nightly South Jersey news program, now airing weekdays at 7 and 11 pm.

     According to Executive Director Earl Sherrick, event organizers are still in need of volunteers to assist the Chamber in directing the event. Please call Sherrick at 856.825.2600 for more details.
